Forgiving will make you healthier

Everyone at some point in their life has been hurt by someone else’s actions or words. Maybe your parent constantly criticized you growing up, or a colleague is making it difficult for you to do your job or you’ve been physically or emotionally abused by someone close to you.

These wounds can leave you with lasting feelings of anger and bitterness — even vengeance. I help many of my RESET clients practice forgiveness so that they can start to feel free. By embracing forgiveness, you also start to feel a sense of peace, hope, more gratitude and joy. There’s also health benefits to forgiveness:

  • Less anxiety, stress and hostility

  • Improved mental health

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Fewer symptoms of depression

  • A stronger immune system

  • Improved heart health

  • Improved self-esteem

Need help with forgiveness? I currently have 2 spots available for my 1-1 RESET coaching program. Sign up for a free 30 minute call to learn how I can support you.

Take some time this week to reflect on who you still haven’t forgiven in your life and how that’s impacting you.
